CAF president Elliot Lifson awarded the Order of Quebec.
The Canadian Apparel Federation is happy to advise that our association's president Elliot Lifson has been awarded the National Order of Quebec and was presented with that honour on Jne 20th.
The honour recognizes Mr. Lifson's tireless efforts to represent and promote the apparel industry over many years. It acknowledges his involvement in numerous industry organizations, including the Canadian Apparel Federation, Vêtement Québec and MMODE, as well as his philanthropic activities and business accomplishments.
The Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal saluted the 26 recipients of the National Order of Quebec, but paid special tribute to Mr. Lifson, citing the fact that he is known in Montreal for "his commitment, his delicacy and his generosity. Elliot was a notable chairman of the Chamber Board of Directors. He left an indelible mark in the Quebec textile sector and the clothing industry in Montreal. Involved in philanthropy and on numerous boards of directors, he is an emblematic figure and an inspiration for our entire business community." Well said.
Congratulations Elliot!
