As the year draws to a close, Vêtement Québec is proud to report a resounding success in helping to launch numerous digital transformation projects as part of Quebec’s Offensive de transformation numérique (OTN) program.

We are also diligently pursuing an extension to the program so that our industry may continue to advance, compete and thrive in our increasingly digital world.

In 2023, we disbursed close to $1 million in grants to more than 20 companies,  funding everything from upgraded websites and e-commerce capabilities to state-of-the-science manufacturing, customer management and product lifestyle systems.

These companies have so far contributed an additional $3 million to their projects. Total projected spend is about $6.9 million, with $1.6 million coming from the subsidies.

We have also initiated a series of webinars exploring digital technologies to optimise operations and growth in our industry.

The last Quebec budget allocated $50 million in further funding for the program through 2025; Vêtement Québec is working with the MEIE to provide documentation and testimonials to support our application for a new round of subsidies.

If your company has received a grant, we welcome all feedback on the project. Please send an email to Galith Weiss. If you want more information on the OTN program or wish to apply should more funds become available, click here.
